mintupload: when editing a (non working – e.g. the default “suggested”) account, without changing something (and therefore closing the window with the top right X) the next time i just get an empty tiny Properties-window! you have close the Upload Manager (just the window – not even necessary to restart mintupload) and it is working again.
mintinstall: Missing emus in Software Manager under Games / Emulators: Higan is missing, but in synaptic Dolphin-emu is missing, but in synaptic
Removed Skype via Software manager but the program still showing up in the Menu. Tried to uninstall it via the Menu but same results. Restarted the system and terminal is no longer works. Skype is still in the Menu but marked as “Install” in Software Manager.
in Czech/Danish (and a few other languages), search in firefox does not work. Both from adress bar and from search bar. Search setting is unaccessible?
At the top of xreader, it is shown how many pages the PDF file has. With Mint-Y-Darker Theme it is impossible to read.
Mint-Y needs a tiny window border or drop shadow. It can be very difficult to distinguish where one window ends and another begins.
Mint-Y: I dislike these borderless windows. When I snap applications next to each other on the screen, the content just seems to run into eachother and almost looks cut off. I know it’s not actually being cut off, but without even a thin border it gives off that impression.

synaptic: in German, when updating, the notification that the update is done has a “Close” button instead of a “Schließen” button. Also, there’s “Show individual files” (in english) during the update process – it should read something like “Zeige individuelle Dateien”.
xed: in gedit, and in pluma, you can select text and move it by dragging it with the mouse. That doesn't work in xed.
xplayer: inhibits on video but not on audio? (although it is selected to do so for “Video or Audio” and “org.x.player lock-screensaver-on-audio true” is set).
text in logout countdown isn't easily readable ... could be similar to Spices configuration module, when install 3rd party spices. Is it a missing style in Mint-X? To define the color of text in progress bars?
“Automatically connect to VPN when using this connection” option for a WiFi network connection is failing upon startup. It then connects to the wifi without the VPN.
panel: right-click -> paste applet configuration doesn't work
virtual keyboard: I used to click on the applet “on-screen-keyboard” and it came in focus (and only then). For this to work I have to enable it in the accessibility settings. With Cinnamon 3.0.x, this woks too, but the keyboard is popping up every each and then (click on menu etc.) and not only if I use the applet. Could this be adjusted?

I downloaded an icon set, just to try it tout, from http://linuxmint-art.org/content/show.php/My+Mint+Elementary?content=169859 I put the extracted folder in /usr/share/icons Went back to Preferences/Theme to find that most choices of icons were gone ! I deleted the elementary-icons folder. Went back to preferences/theme/icons and the choices were all back.
nemo-preview does not close properly, press space to open it, press space to close it... you end up with an empty window.
cinnamon: place two panels (bottom and top), add application menu applet to top panel, left zone. when menu is open, hover the applet icon.. it makes the applet flicker.
choose Mint-Y-Dark for controls: all blue “more info” links in spices’ online lists can’t be read on the dark background
network settings / network applet: the list of available wlans contains my own wlan and another one of the same name with “auto” in front that has a black block where the connection strenght should appear.
network settings / network applet: connected to vpn (cisco to be exact), it doesn’t display network icon with lock when connected in the system tray compared to previous version.
nemo: changing desktop font size segfaults nemo (seems to only happen after a reboot. After nemo is restarted, this can't be reproduced anymore.)
nemo: When moving the panel, or resizing the panel, the desktop icons sometimes disappear. (Solution is to start/restart Nemo.)

preferred applications settings seem to have an issue when setting the default app for music. I have vlc installed and deadfeef but when I set deadfeef to be the default app to play music, vlc opens all music instead.
I can’t set VLC as preferred video application. It seems set as preferred application in Cinnamon menu but Nemo keep opening all video format with Video.
when changing the appearance to Mint-Y-Dark the background in caja doesn’t change! you have to go to “Edit” -> “Backgrounds and Emblems” and reset it once manually. now it changes every time with the theme. (check gsettings set org.mate.caja.preferences background-set false)
Can you somehow disable the audio file sound preview when you point your mouse pointer on it? It just often crashes the whole Caja file manager and the audio sometimes keeps playing even if I point mouse away from it (so i have to kill the proccess in proccess manager).
Qt 5 apps use the Fusion theme by default rather than the GTK+ one.
mintmenu: use custom color should be disabled by default (it makes mintmenu look really bad with mint-y-dark)

mintmenu: The new MintMenu theme is supposed to have rounded corners, but the transparency is broken, leaving hideous white triangles where there ought to be transparency.
During install I opted in to install codecs. It did install. After install when I go to Software Centre, under recommended apps, it shows as codecs not installed?
.deb files are open by default with Ark, they should be open with some software installer instead.
Ark (the KDE file archive manager) isn’t able to open ZIP files. The problem can be solved by installing “p7zip-full” (the base package “p7zip” is already installed).
For old KDE games to work users need to install “qml-module-org-kde-games-core”, for compatibility with QML.
Nothing shows up on “History” in startmenu.
