“Automatically connect to VPN when using this connection” option for a WiFi network connection is failing upon startup. It then connects to the wifi without the VPN.

I downloaded an icon set, just to try it tout, from http://linuxmint-art.org/content/show.php/My+Mint+Elementary?content=169859 I put the extracted folder in /usr/share/icons Went back to Preferences/Theme to find that most choices of icons were gone ! I deleted the elementary-icons folder. Went back to preferences/theme/icons and the choices were all back.
nemo-preview does not close properly, press space to open it, press space to close it... you end up with an empty window.
cinnamon: place two panels (bottom and top), add application menu applet to top panel, left zone. when menu is open, hover the applet icon.. it makes the applet flicker.

AFAIK, libmad0 is illegal in the U.S. and Japan. I know Mint 18 has removed multimedia support out of the box partly to streamline global distribution. It seems you removed libmad0 from default amd64 images, but you left libmad0:i386 apparently by accident, since all other codecs seem to be cleaned out on the Beta image. I don’t want to see Mint run into any trouble in the U.S. or Japan, so libmad0:i386 ought to be removed before release.

Cinnamon (3.05+sarah) crashed to Fallback while Winetricks was installing an app, Irfanview. It was in the procedure where the installer writes launchers to the desktop.
