Right-click an icon on the panel, select “options”, then “edit”. Try to choose a new icon. The new icon shows in the window. Try to click “OK”. It won’t click and the icon won’t change.

The brushed metal mintmenu background isn't set for some Mint-X color variants

Xfce Edition

mintupload: systray icon looks huge
In “Removable Drives and Media”, multimedia tab, “play audio CD’s when inserted” should be “rhythmbox %d” or “vlc cdda:///dev/sr0/”
Reduce notifications time to 5 seconds.
The taskbar tray indicator icons become “janky” when you hover over them with the mint-y theme (dark or regular) selected

KDE Edition (Plasma 5.8)

theme needs support for logout/shutdown session background
configure the SDDM theme background
kmail fails because /var/lib/mysql-files doesn't exist
